Deleting Your Hearabout Data

You can request deletion of your Hearabout account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This applies regardless of how you signed up — email, Google, or Facebook.

How to request deletion

1. Email contact@arantra.net with the subject line “Hearabout account deletion request.”
2. Send the request from the email address on your Hearabout account (or tell us which email or social account you signed in with) so we can verify it’s you.
3. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then send you a final confirmation.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your sign-in credentials, email address, profile information received from Google or Facebook, and your subscriptions and organization claims. Public event listings you posted may remain visible (so community calendars aren’t left with holes), but they will no longer be associated with your identity. If you want events you posted removed as well, say so in your request and we will remove them.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Deleting your Hearabout account does not affect your Facebook or Google account. You can also revoke Hearabout’s access at any time in your Facebook app settings or your Google account permissions.
